We were really happy with the service we received while purchasing our brand new Ford Escape PHEV. Despite running into a 2-3 month delay before we could take ownership (at no fault of the dealership itself) our sales rep. Erik and management went above and beyond to ensure we weren’t too inconvenienced.

By far the worst experience I’ve had when purchasing a vehicle. This is not an exaggeration by any means. I purchased a used GMC Sierra August 2022, along with a Ford factory Premium Plus warranty ($4000) . This is essentially a bumper to bumper warranty. Skip to June 2023. Check engine light comes on (P050D code, injector issue). Take it to DuPont to have them check it out. Their technicians were not able to even determine what the issue could be. They send the truck across the street to a GM dealership after 3 weeks of having my truck there. These guys couldn’t figure it out either. I take my truck back and bring it to a GM dealer near my home. Within 4 hours they determine it’s a failed injector. Great! Not really…. They quoted the repair to Ford at $1300. Ford took 6 weeks to approve this repair. During this time I was not offered a rental and made payments on the truck.
One week later I experienced engine trouble again (September 15/23). Brought it back to the GM dealership. They concluded a failed lifter caused a pitted camshaft. Truck is not driveable. GM dealership quotes repair to Ford. Ford finally makes a decision to repair the truck on November 20/23!!!
During this time I reached out to Pascal DuPont, the GM of DuPont Ford. He replied quickly to my initial email(October 22/23, but that’s where it ended. After repeatedly asking for some kind of update with no reply to phone calls and emails, I threatened legal action. Now the dealership will not respond to me at all. I’ve paid tens of thousands on a vehicle, plus thousands on a warranty, and this dealership just ghosts me. BUYER BEWARE. This dealership is there to take your hard earned money, and when you need their help, they ignore you. I have made over $3000 in payments during the time it has sat waiting for warranty approvals. I have also made over $400 in insurance payments as well. Shame on them
